Punch Tonnage Calculator

 

This on-line calculator gives you the number of tons required to punch round, oblong, square and rectangular shaped holes through mild steel having tensile strength of 65,000 pounds per square inch. All tonnage requirements are based on sharp punches. Dull or chipped punches will increase the tonnage requirements.
